The grant would fund the Skilled Trades Initiative which aims to enhance vocational training, expand pre-apprenticeship opportunities, and support students’ participation in Registered Apprenticeship programs. The initiative focuses on student persistence and completion, employer engagement, and program coordination to build pathways in the construction industry, water utility management, and other skilled trades.
