Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) in the form of a grant, for the SFY2024 JAG ALERT, awarded by the United States Department of Justice, passed through the MA Executive Office of Public Safety and Security, to be administered by the Police Department. The grant will fund certification of all BPD Police Academy Instructors through the 5 day AAIR Train the Trainer course at the ALERT (Advance Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training) Center at Texas State University.
