Title: Councilor Louijeune called Docket #1574, an order for your approval an Order authorizing the City of Boston to appropriate the amount of Seventeen Million One Hundred Sixty-Five Thousand Dollars ($17,165,000.00) for the purpose of paying the costs associated with the boiler, roof, windows and doors replacement projects as the following schools: The Jeremiah E. Burke High School, The English High School, Dennis C. Haley Pilot School and the Dr. William W. Henderson Inclusion Upper School. The City of Boston has applied for a grant from the Massachusetts School Building Authority (“MSBA”), from the Committee on Ways and Means. No objection being heard, the matter was before the body. Committee members polled; yeas 5. On motion of Councilor Louijeune, the order was read a second time and again passed; yeas 11, not present 1 (Worrell), absent 1 (Fernandes Anderson).
