On the message and order, referred on January 24, 2024, Docket #0143, that will authorize the Boston Transportation Department ("BTD") to enter into two contracts, with terms of up to 10 years, to deploy curbside electric vehicle ("EV") charging stations through a public/private partnership and at no cost to the City with a potential for revenue share. BTD has identified two vendors through the public procurement process that offer different models that address the distinct challenges to locate curbside EV charging, the committee submitted a report recommending that the order should pass.
