Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of Nine Thousand Dollars ($9,000.00) in the form of a grant, for the BU Research Pilot Project, awarded by Boston University School of Social Work to be administered by the Police Department. The grant will fund a research partnership with Boston University and the University of Massachusetts Lowell to examine Boston Police Department response to mental and behavioral health-related calls for service in the Boston Public Schools. The funds will cover staff overtime required to redact personal data from student records.
