Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of Fifty-Nine Thousand Two Hundred Sixty-Eight Dollars ($59,268.00) in the form of a grant, for the FY23 BJA Justice and Mental Health Collaboration Program, awarded by the United States Department of Justice, passed through the University of Massachusetts, to be administered by the Police Department. The grant will fund the connection of BPD data with data from BMC’s Boston Emergency Services Team so that we can better understand the impact of co-response (mental health and law enforcement) in Boston.
