Communication was received from Council President Ruthzee Louijeune calling for the election of City Clerk for the City of Boston on February 12, 2025, and ending on February 3, 2028.
President Louijeune nominates Alex Geourntas. Seconded by Councilor Pepén.
On motion of Councilor Louijeune, a roll call vote was called with the following result: Alex Geourntas- Councilors Breadon, Coletta Zapata, Durkan, Fernandes Anderson, FitzGerald, Flynn, Louijeune, Murphy, Pepén, Santana, Weber, Worrell- 12. Not Present 1(Mejia).
Alex Geourntas, having received 12 votes, was declared City Clerk for a term ending February 3, 2028.
