Title: On the message and order, referred on January 11, 2023, Docket #0116, authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of One Million Six Hundred Thirty-Three Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($1,633,500.00) in the form of a grant, for the Resilient Moakley Connectors, awarded by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, passed through the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency, to be administered by the Environment Department. The grant will fund pre-construction planning and design activities in the northern and southern areas adjacent to Moakley Park, located along the waterfront of Dorchester and South Boston neighborhoods. The project is separate but complementary to the flood mitigation project within Moakley Park, the committee submitted a report recommending that the order ought to pass.
